[cze][eng] Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice mezinárodní spravedlnosti a možnostem postihu zločinů podle mezinárodního práva. Pojednává nejprve o limitech uplatňování univerzální jurisdikce národními soudy, o vývoji a fungování jednotlivých typů institucí mezinárodního trestního soudnictví, a především pak o vlastnostech a fungování současného vrcholného orgánu mezinárodní spravedlnosti, Mezinárodního trestního soudu. Práce představuje postoje různých států k Soudu i jejich argumentaci. Také se věnuje praktickým problémům činnosti Soudu.This thesis deals with the topic of international criminal justice and with possibilities how to prosecute perpetrators of crimes under international law. Thesis examines limits of exercising universal jurisdiction by national courts, then the development of various types of institutions of international criminal justice, and finally the features and functioning of the International Criminal Court. Thesis presents approaches of several states to the Court and their arguments. It also deals with the current functioning of the Court and related problems.
