Ve své práci jsem se snažil o využití urbáře jako materiálu pro popsání osídlení, lidnatosti, výčtu poddanských dávek a povinností, platů stálých i běžných. V textu jsem se také pokusil naznačit přednosti i nevýhody tohoto pramene obecně. Dnešní historiografie se od urbářů a jejich údajů poněkud odklání, zaměřuje se spíše na jejich evidenci a celkový popis. Přesto si myslím, že tento úřední soupis může stále nabízet podněty k různým otázkám. Již samotný fakt, zda se vždy skutečně podařilo vybrat vypsané množství, popřípadě zda mohly následovat určité sankce. Osobně považuji za nejzajímavější samotný praktický akt odevzdávání peněžních i naturálních dávek. Jak probíhalo předávání mnohdy marginálních peněžních částek či až neuvěřitelně přesného objemového množství obilí, zůstává nedořešeno. Mám za to, že zejména při odevzdávání obilí, kdy se užívalo současně několika stejných i nepatrně odlišných měrných jednotek, muselo docházet k nepřesnostem. Celkové sumáře dávek pak nutně musely být zaokrouhleny či zkresleny. Ovšem snad i to bylo součástí úřední praxe vrchnostenských statků. Urbáře by tak mohli posloužit i k tak dnes oblíbené každodennosti, zde konkrétně v oblasti hospodářsko-sociální. Pro sledovaný urbář z roku 1568 navíc hovoří skutečnost, že se jedná o jediný takový pramen pro celé panství... In my work I tried to use the Urbar to describe settlement, population, obligations of subjects, as well as salaries of permanent normal. I also tried to outline advantages and disadvantages of this source in general. Today's historiography deviates from the data Urbar and focuses on their evidence and a general description. Nevertheless, I think that this list may offer suggestions on various issues. Already the fact, whether the required amount was collected, or whether some punishment could follow. Personally, I consider paying dues, either with money or kind to be the most interesting of all. The ways of transmission of small amounts of money and the exact quantity of grain remains unresolved. I assure, that there could be some inaccuracies because of usage of several same or slightly different units of measure. Overall figures had to be rounded or distorted. Perhaps this was the official practice of aristocratic estates. The Urbar could serve to describe the everydayness, here at economic -social zone especially. A fact, that it is the only type of source for the whole manor of Lanškroun and Lanšperk, speaks in favour of the Urbar from 1568.
