Abstract: The Langevin-statistics-based James-Guth equation combined with a small phenomenological correction is shown to satisfactorily describe the stress-elongation dependences up to break of unfilled and hard-phase reinforced elastomeric networks. Parameters of the eq. were determined for a number of networks and their relation to external factors and network structure were discussed.
