1.Alkoholová intoxikace zvyšuje průtok krve mozkem o 8 až 24 procent 2.Alkohol neovlivňuje dynamickou autoregulační odpověď mozkové cirkulace 3.Kofein v dávce 300 mg per os snižuje průtok krve mozkem o 20 %. 4. S vyloučením vlivu CO2 snižuje kofein v dávce 300 mg per os průtok krve mozkem o 10 až 20 %. 5.Kofein snižuje CBF i při těžké, arteficielně navozené vazodilataci mozkového řečiště (při hyperkapnii kofein snižuje CBF o 11 až 12 %) 6. Při hypokapnii kofein nesnižuje CBF 7.Výsledky testu vasomotorické reaktivity nejsou ovlivněny případným příjmem kofeinu před testem 8.Hladina kysličníku uhličitého (CO2) v krvi je silným regulátorem tonu mozkových cév a tím i CBF 9.Vasomotorická reaktivita u zdravých jedinců je 86.5 ± 19.1 a CO2 reaktivita je 3.0 ± 0.6 %/mmHg 10. Hyperkapnie téměř kompletně vyřazuje mozkovou autoregulaci (autoregulační index se při hyperkapnii sníží z 4 ± 0.8 na 0.9 ± 0.9) 11. Při vzestupu etCO2 o 1mmHg dojde k poklesu ARI o 8.24% 12. Po kraniotraumatu dochází k výraznému zhoršení mozkové autoregulace 13. Metoda měření dynamické autoregulační odpovědi pomocí cyklických změn tlaku je výsledky srovnatelná s klasickou metodou a je méně zatěžující pro pacienty 14. CO2 is a strong regulator of cerebral blood flow (through the regulation of the tone of cerebral vessels) 10. Cerebral vasomotor reactivity in healthy humans is 86.5 ± 19.1, and CO2 reactivity is 3.0 ± 0.6 %/mmHg 11. Cerebral autoregulation is significantly impaired during hypercapnia (autoregulation index decreases from baseline values of 4 ± 0.8 to 0.9 ± 0.9) 12.
