ZÁVĚR Na úvod bylo řečeno, že význam šlechtění a plemenitby zvířat, resp. živočišné výroby obecně, spočívá zejména v tom, že zajišťuje výživu obyvatelstva bílkovinami živočišného původu. Aby bylo možné dostát tak zásadnímu cíli, je nutné pro tuto oblast stanovit pravidla, která zajistí efektivnost živočišné produkce, ale také zaručit dostatečné informace pro spotřebitele. Jedná se nejen o pravidla stanovená pro oblast šlechtění a plemenitby zvířat, jako je například stanovení povinnosti používat k plemenitbě pouze plemenná zvířata, tj. zvířata zapsaná v ústředním registru plemeníků, vymezení zásad kontroly užitkovosti, zavedení pravidel pro uznávání chovatelských sdružení nebo chovatelských podniků a udělování souhlasu k výkonu některých odborných činností podle plemenářského zákona. Zejména se však jedná o pravidla stanovená pro oblast označování a evidence zvířat. Tato problematika hraje stěžejní úlohu v rámci právní úpravy plemenářského zákona. Systém označování a evidence zvířat podle plemenářského zákona totiž zajišťuje možnost dohledání původu zvířat z důvodu ochrany jejich zdraví a tím i bezpečnosti potravin živočišného původu. Právní úprava šlechtění a plemenitby zvířat zcela reaguje na požadavky stanovené předpisy Evropské unie. Implementace těchto požadavků do právního řádu České republiky...108 11. SUMMARY This thesis deals with the topic - "Selection and Breeding from the legal point of view". The intention of this work is to provide the presentation as integrated as possible on the legal adjustments as far as the selection and breeding of animals in the Czech Republic are concerned. The introductory chapters deal with the development in the field of selection and breeding activities as a whole on the territory of the Czech Republic. In the special chapter the authoress focuses on international agreements applying to the field of selection and breeding of animals including the legal adjustments and policy in the European Union. The fundamental part of work pays particular attention to the legal proceedings covering the selection and breeding methods represented among others by the Breeding Act. In the framework of this, the corresponding concepts and basic institutes which are "the selection" and "the breeding; the legal subjects participating in the field of selection and breeding of animals; the identification of animals and registration of animals, their owners and the holdings including the activity of supervisory authorities performed in compliance with the mentioned Breeding Act, are explained.
