Abstrakt Název práce: Životní styl studentů středních škol v Mostě v souvislosti se socioekonomickým statusem jejich rodičů. Cíle práce Zjištění souvislosti mezi socioekonomickým statusem rodičů a životním stylem jejich dětí v Mostě, jinými slovy zjištění, zdali postavení rodiny v sociální stratifikaci vytváří rozdílnost životních stylů dětí z jednotlivých tříd. Metoda Explorativní metoda empirického výzkumu. Za výzkumnou techniku byla vybrána dotazníková metoda. Dotazník je nestandardizovaný. Výsledky Symbolické hranice mezi životními styly studentů středních škol v Mostě, pocházejících z rozdílných sociálních tříd, se rozplývají, nejsou přísně vymezeny. Životní styly jedinců, jejichž rodiče mají rozdílný socioekonomický status, se podobají. Klíčová slova Životní styl, socioekonomický status, rodina, vertikální stratifikace. Abstract Title: The lifestyle of middle-school students in the city of Most, in relation to the socio- economic status of their parents. Goal: Ascertaining, in the city of Most, the connection between parents' socio-economic status and their children's lifestyle, i.e. ascertaining whether parents' position in social strata creates a difference in the lifestyles of children from individual classes. Method: Explorative method of empirical research. The research technique chosen was to utilize questionnaires. The questionnaires were not standardized. Results: The symbolic borders between lifestyles of middle-school students from various social classes in the city of Most are diffuse and not strictly defined. Individuals whose parents have differing socio-economic statuses have lifestyles which resemble each other. Keywords: Lifestyle, socio-economic status, family, vertical stratification.
