cze Abstract:
Díky opakovatelnosti rysů sídlišť je možno vytipovat problémová místa (parkovací plochy, sportovní a dětská hřiště, objekty nákupních středisek, volné plochy, zeleň apod.) a jevy (bezpečnost, orientace, apod.) v nich. The impacts of the development after 1989 resulted, apart of other economic changes, in complex house building termination (1992). The complex house building had been focused on the construction of prefab houses in concentrated estates. The environment of the estates is characterized with problems of social, technical, traffic, demographic, ets. Character. One third of the state population lives on the estates, therefore humanization and regeneration projects were commenced. Sociological research has shown, that the inhabitants of housing estates do not complan much about living in a block of flats but about the environment of the estate in general. Due to the repetitiveness of housing estate´s features, it is possible to locate the problem areas (parking lots, sport and playgrounds, shopping malls, open sites, greenery, etc.) and phenomena (safety, orientation, etc.) related to them. Drawing on the experience of the countires of the West (adjusted to the regional circumstatnces), it will be possibleto gradually change Czech housing estates ino sites that will not only serve as residential but complex livin environment and that woll initiate and cultivate its inhabitants.
