V rámci konference jsou prezentovány příspěvky zabývající se rozsáhlou problematikou - sedimentárním vývojem v hornoslezské pánvi, novými mapami celé pánve, korelací, datováním, palynologií a fyzikálními vlastnostmi hornin, zejména uhlí. Presented papers of conference deal with wide problems - sedimentary evolution of the Upper Silesian Basin, new maps of the whole basin, correlation, dating, palynology and physical properties of rocks particularly coal.
