Sanace hořícího odvalu Dolu Kateřina spočívá v ochlazení a přemístění více než 2,3 mil. m. krychlových odvalu. Upravený a schlazený odvalový materiál se ukládá do utěsněných kazet. V tomto příspěvku je popsáno matematické modelování stabilitních poměrů na rekonstruovaném odvalu. Maintenance of the burning waste bank of the Kateřina Mine consists in the replacement and cooling of more the 2,3 millions cubic meter of waste material. The crushed and cooled waste material is stored in some insulated waste rock beds. The mathematical modelling of the stability of the new waste rock bodies, which are based on inclined ground is described.
