Název: Problematika čtení s porozuměním u sluchově postiženích dětí Cíl práce: Vypracování uceleného přehledu týkajícího se současných možností nácviku čtení s porozuměním u neslyšících žáků v rámci vzdělávacího procesu na základních školách, způsobů úpravy textů určených pro neslyšící žáky, včetně ověření přínosu čtení textu upraveného pro sluchově postižené žáky. Metoda: Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části je popsáno sluchové ústrojí, sluchové vady a sluchová postižení. Dále některé komunikační metody neslyšících a problematika čtení a vzdělávání sluchově postižených dětí. V praktické části jsou popsány problémy vznikající při čtení neslyšících a při úpravě beletrie. Pomocí dotazníkové metody a Zkoušky čtení dle Matějčka byly ověřeny předem stanovené hypotézy týkající se problematiky čtení a vhodnosti upravených textů pro neslyšící. Výsledky a závěry: Zjištění významu úpravy textu pro nácvik čtení s porozuměním u neslyšících žáků, dále pak vhodných postupů při úpravě textu, případně možných úskalí, které práce s textem přináší.
