eng Abstract:
Thiodiglycolic acid (TDGA) is a physiological intermediate of the metabolism of cysteine which originates from homocysteine transformation. Estimation of increased levels of TDGA in urine reveals indicates intoxication of workers in chemical industry by halogenated organic solvents. Therefore our cheap and simple analytical method of TDGA determination is a contribution to toxicological control in industry.
