Výzkum upozorňuje na skutečnost, že téma pacienti po PTCA a jejich kvalita života je oblast málo prozkoumaná. Práce je členěna do dvou částí. Teoretická část je zaměřena na ischemickou chorobu srdeční, její etiopatogenezi, diagnostiku, kliniku a léčbu. Část empirická je zaměřena na pojem "kvalita života", její definice a metody diagnostiky a na vlastní výsledky výzkumu. V práci byl použit standardizovaný dotazník SF-36. Zkoumání byli muži mezi 50-60ti lety, kterým byla provedena PTCA. Z výsledků vyplývá potřeba důslednější psychické podpory, protože v otázkách zaměřených na psychiku nedošlo k výrazným změnám k lepšímu, jako v otázkách, které jsou zaměřeny na oblast somatickou. Obecně lze říci, že pacienti, kteří podstoupili provedení koronární angioplastiky, významně profitují z tohoto zákroku a došlo u nich ke zlepšení kvality života. The main topic of this research is to show the fact that there are no works about quality of life of patients before and after PCI in Czech Republic. The work has two parts. The first part is theoretical, it describes ischemic heart disease, its etiology, diagnose, clinic symptoms and therapy. The second empirical part is concentrated on the quality of life it self, its definition and its diagnostic methods and on own results of the research. There has been used the standardized questionnaire SF-36 in the work. The middle aged men (50-60 years old) which undergone PCI were the target population of the research. The results show the need of deep psychological support, because the questions concentrated on mentality did not result in better state, on the other hand questions from somatic field so. Generally is to be told, the patients after PCI profited eminently of this application and the quality of life increased rapidly.
