Abstract: Powder particles introduced into thermal plasma are melted and accelerated by hot plasma-jet core in the form of spheroidal droplets. They could be captured in a liquid orin a vessel placed in proper distance from the plasma jetto obtain solidified droplets. In such a way several kilo grams per hour of powder composed of spheroized particles("free-flight particles") could be obtained if water-stabilized plasma system is used.
