V lednovém šetření se Centrum pro výzkum veřejného mínění SOU AV ČR, v.v.i., zaměřilo na hodnocení působení Miloše Zemana v prezidentském úřadě. Dotázaní hodnotili, jak prezident Miloš Zeman plní funkce svěřené mu Ústavou, dbá o vážnost a důstojnost úřadu, reprezentuje ČR v zahraničí, působí jako autorita u občanů, ovlivňuje vnitropolitický život a zda je v kontaktu s občany a zná jejich problémy. In its regular survey in January 2017 the Public Opinion Research Centre focused on questions about the Miloš Zeman's presidency. Most Czechs think that president Zeman is in contact with people and knows their problems (66 %) and fulfills his constitutional functions (63 %).
