Abstract: Report contains results and analysis of optical measurements (interferometry and schlieren photography) on the variant of the tip section of the 60" (1525) long rotor blade for the last stage of a large output steam turbine. Internal designation of the cascade is TR-U-7. Measurements were performed in the test section with small flow turning.
