Práce se zabývá možností otevření maloobchodní provozní jednotky potravin diskontního typu na předem určené lokalitě města Brandýs nad Labem - Stará Boleslav. V teoretických částech je popsána maloobchodní síť v České republice, je zde vysvětlena typologie maloobchodních jednotek a také faktory, které fungování maloobchodních jednotek ovlivňují. Teoretické části se také zaměřují na nákupní chování spotřebitele v ČR, a co ho ovlivňuje. Praktická část se věnuje analýze maloobchodní sítě Brandýsa nad Labem - Staré Boleslavi. Práce vyhodnocuje výsledky dotazníkového šetření zaměřeného na nákupní zvyklosti a preferovaný způsob nakupování obyvatel jmenované lokality. This bachelor thesis deals with a possibility of starting a discount retail store located in Brandys nad Labem - Stara Boleslav. The theoretical part describes retail industry in the Czech Republic and also different types of retail stores and factors that affect them. Furthermore, the theoretical part also focuses on factors influencing consumer behavior in the Czech Republic. The practical section analyzes retail stores in Brandys nad Labem - Stara Boleslav. The thesis evaluates survey results with a focus on consumer buying behavior and preferred way of shopping in the area mentioned above.
