Ve své práci se zabývám problematikou rozvoje emoční inteligence v organizaci, kterou je Veterinární klinika Zbraslav. Pro svůj výzkum vycházím z teoretických podkladů o emoční inteligenci, které jsou v současnosti přijímány. Teorie emoční inteligence se opírá mimo jiné o znalost emocí, proto je jedna kapitola práce věnována právě emocím. Pro vývoj současné definice emoční inteligence, o kterou se v práci opírám, je důležité znát i jiné pohledy na to, co emoční inteligence vlastně znamená a jaké složky zahrnuje. Další kapitoly jsou tedy věnovány různým definicím emoční inteligence od různých autorů a také souvislostem mezi emoční inteligencí a jinými složkami inteligence (např. intelektuální, sociální, praktická apod.) Poslední teoretická kapitola se věnuje rozvoji složek emoční inteligence podle Golemana (1997) a využívám v ní cvičení z knihy od Pletzera (2009). Praktická část práce je založena na dotazníkovém šetření mezi zaměstnanci kliniky a na rozhovoru s majitelem kliniky MVDr. Eduardem Voldřichem. V dotaznících jsem se především zaměřila na míru emoční inteligence v souvislosti s věkem, pracovní pozicí a vzděláním. Díky rozhovoru jsem získala informace o možném rozvoji emoční inteligence zaměstnanců kliniky a také o tom, jaké bariéry je potřeba zhodnotit. In my work I deal with the development of emotional intelligence in the organization, which is Zbraslav Veterinary Clinic. For my research, I start from theoretical bases of emotional intelligence, which are currently accepted. Emotional intelligence theory is further supported by the knowledge of emotions, so one chapter devoted to emotion. For the development of the current definition of emotional intelligence, on which I rely on the job, it is important to know the different views of what emotional intelligence actually means and what folders it contains. Other chapters are therefore dedicated to different definitions of emotional intelligence from various authors and also the connection between emotional intelligence and other intelligence components (eg. The intellectual, social, practical, etc.). The last theoretical chapter is devoted to the development of the folders of emotional intelligence by Goleman (1997), and I use there exercises from book by Pletzer (2009). The practical part of my work is based on a survey among employees of the clinic and an interview with the owner of the clinic MVDr. Eduard Voldřich. In the questionnaires, I mainly focused on the degree of emotional intelligence depending on the with age, education and occupational position. Thanks to the interview, I received information on possible development of emotional intelligence of employees of the clinic and also about what barriers need to be assessed.
