Abstract: The MGB, is similarly as the inferior colliculus (IC) is organized into three subdivisions, with the ventral MGB characterized by the quickest onset reaction with the lowest thresholds to auditory stimulation and with the same ratio of monotonic and non-monotonic RLFs.
