Výpočet vegetačních indexů (VI) je jednou z metod, jak efektivně hodnotit stav sledované vegetace. Jedná se o nedestruktivní a nízkonákladový přístup, jehož výsledky zásadně napomáhají při plánování agronomického managementu zemědělského pozemku. Předkládaná práce se zabývá určením vhodnosti vybraných VI pro popis variability výnosu zemědělských plodin s přihlédnutím k topografickým atributům území a meteorologickým podmínkám. Studijním územím byl pozemek o rozloze 11.5 ha, přičemž k výpočtu VI byly využity družicové snímky systému LANDSAT 5 s prostorovým rozlišením 30 m. Analýza byla prováděna pro roky 2005 a 2011, kdy byla pěstována pšenice ozimá, a roky 2006 a 2010, kdy byl pěstován oves. S využitím SW ENVI a ArcGIS byly získány hodnoty jednotlivých VI, které umožnily provedení statistické analýzy. Výsledky této analýzy ukazují na silnou míru korelace mezi všemi vybranými VI a výnosem, respektive topografickým faktorem. Lze tedy říci, že vybrané VI jsou vhodné k popisu variability výnosu na zemědělském pozemku. Calculation of vegetation indices (VI) is an effective method how to evaluate a condition of a monitored vegetation. It is a non-destructive and low-cost approach and its results are crucial for planning agronomic management within a monitored field. Diploma thesis deals with the determination of suitability of selected VI to describe the yield variability related to topographic attributes and weather conditions. The study area was a 11.5 ha field. To derive selected VI LANDSAT 5 images with a spatial resolution of 30 m were used. These images were taken in years 2005 and 2011 for winter wheat and in years 2006 and 2010, when oat was grown. SW ENVI and ArcGIS were used to obtain specific values. Those were used for statistical analysis. The results indicated a strong relationship between all selected VI and yield, respectively topographic factor. Selected VI derived from LANDSAT 5 images can be used to describe yield variability over a monitored field.
