Práce je zaměřena na zavádění domácí hospicové péče z pohledu sociální práce. Teoretická část se zabývá charakteristikou hospice, hospicové péče, detailněji pak domácí hospicovou péčí a platnou legislativou. Hlavní důraz je kladen na sociální práci v hospicové péči a pozici sociálního pracovníka v ní. Na teoretickou část navazuje výzkum, který má za cíl zjistit, do jaké míry se daří zavádět domácí hospicovou péči se sociálním pracovníkem. Výzkumným souborem jsou čtyři zařízení domácí hospicové péče na území Jihočeského kraje. Jedná se o Domácí hospic Jordán v Táboře, Domácí hospicovou péči sv. Kleofáše v Třeboni, Domácí hospic Athelas v Písku a Hospic sv. Jana N. Neumanna v Prachaticích. The work is focused on introduction of home hospice care from social work´s point of view. The thereoretical part deals with characteristic of hospice, hospice care, then home hospice care and valid legislation in a more detailed way. Emphasis is put on the social work in hospice care and the position of a social worker within hospice care. Research follows the theoretical part, research has the goal to find out if home hospice care with a social worker succeeds in phasing to a large extend. Research file consists of four facilities of home hospice care in South Bohemian Region. The research concerns Home hospice Jordán in Tábor, Saint Kleofáš´s Home hospice care in Třeboň, Home hospice Athelas in Písek and Saint Jan N.Neumann´s Hospice in Prachatice.
