V příspěvku jsou prezentovány stručné výsledky výzkumu biologie (zejména intenzity růstu) šesti druhů jeseterů chovaných v akvakulturních podmínkách České republiky v letech 1994-1999. Jako nejvhodnější pro umělý chov v ČR byli doporučeni jeseter sibiřský a jeseter malý. Brief results of biological research (especially growth rate) in six sturgeon species, reared under aquacultural conditions of the Czech Republic in 1994-1999, are presented. As suitable for aquaculture rearing in the Czech Republic, Acipenser baeri A. ruthenus were prowed.
