Cílem dosud probíhajícícho výzkumu bylo zejména stanovit velikost teritorií dospělých jedinců, sledovat směry a intenzitu disperze subadultních rysů, sledovat denní aktivitu označených jedinců a kombinací s ostatními metodami zpřesnit odhady početnosti. resp. hustoty populace. This work contains the results of telemetric research of lynx carried out between 1996-1999. This research was done in the area of the central and western part of Šumava, especially in the National Park and the Protected Landscape Area.
