Drift je tradičně definován jako poproudná migrace raných vývojových stádií ryb z míst, kde došlo ke tření, na místa, která jsou vhodná pro další vývoj a odrůstání. V této studii jsme sledovali rozmanitost strategií driftu raných vývojových stádií ryb. V nížinných tocích a pokusili jsme se nalézt kritéria, podle kterých by bylo možno tyto strategie klasifikovat. The diversity of strategies of fish drift (i.e. downstream transport of early development stages) were studied at global and regional (Central Europe) scales.
