Práce pojednává o využití sluneční energie jako o jednom z obnovitelných zdrojů energie, tudíž možném nástupci fosilních paliv v energetice budoucnosti, součastném pohledu na sluneční energii a její postavení ve světě energetiky v dnešní době. Řeší možné výhody a nevýhody využívání energie Slunce. Přináší zamyšlení nad ekologickou a ekonomickou stránkou a navrhuje možné kompromisy. Dále se zaměřuje na využití v klimatických podmínkách České republiky a srovnává využití slunečních kolektorů a fotovoltaických panelů. The work deals with the use of solar energy as one of renewable energy sources, hence the possible successors to fossil fuels in the energy future, present, looking at solar energy and its energy position in the world today. It addresses the possible advantages and disadvantages of using solar energy. It brings thoughts of the ecological and economics and suggest possible compromises. Next part is focused on the use of the climatic conditions of the Czech Republic and compares the efficiency of solar collectors and photovoltaic panels.
