Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na oblast bezdrátových počítačových sítí a to v souvislosti se zajištěním podpory IP mobility pro tyto sítě. Práci tvoří dvě hlavní části, teoretická a praktická. První teoretická část obsahuje v úvodu jednoduchou charakteristiku a klasifikaci bezdrátových sítí. Dále pak popisuje aktuální nové trendy v oblasti bezdrátových sítí a soustředí se přitom především na technologii WiMAX (IEEE 802.16). V závěru této části je pak uveden popis technologie mobilní IPv4 adresy zajišťované protokolem MIPv4. Druhá hlavní část práce se zabývá praktickou implementací protokolu MIPv4 v prostředí Wi-Fi a WiMAX. K tomuto účelu je využito simulačního programu OPNET Modeler 14.0, ve kterém je vytvořena trojice síťových modelů těchto technologií. Simulace ukazuje funkci základních mechanismů protokolu MIPv4 a ve výsledcích je zjišťováno, který z daných modelů poskytuje lepší vlastnosti pro realizaci VoIP komunikace. The bachelor´s thesis is focused on wireless networks within the context of providing support of IP mobility for these networks. This document consists of two main parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. The first one at the beginning includes simple characteristics and classification of wireless networks. Then it is followed by description of actual new trends in wireless networks, focused on the WiMAX technology (IEEE 802.16). At the end of this part is introduced the technology of mobile IPv4 address provided by the MIPv4 protocol. The second main part of the bachelor´s thesis deals with the practical implementation of the MIPv4 protocol into the Wi-Fi and WiMAX environment. For this object is used the OPNET Modeler 14.0 simulation environment, in which are made three network models of these technologies. This simulation shows function of the basic mechanisms of the MIPv4 protocol and reports which of these models have the best performance for supporting VoIP communication.
