Abstract: Measurements of induced critical currents in silver-sheathed Bi.sub.2Sr./sub.2Ca.sub.2Cu./sub.3O.sub.10 tapes will the aim to investigate the anomaly of intergranular currents. We gradually destroyed the inter-grain links by imposing and increasing uniaxial stress along the tape normal, and observed the corresponding evolution of the magnetic hysteresis loop shape.
