Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce bylo navázat na urbanistickou studií provedenou v rámci předchozího modulového ateliéru a vypracovat architektonickou studii objektu Galerie Velké ceny města Brna. Návrh byl podřízen potřebám obnovit zašlou slávu ikonického okruhu, poskytnout novou náplň nedostatečně využitému areálu a vytvořit důstojné a reprezentativní místo pro prezentaci bohaté historie českého a československého motorsportu. Výsledkem je studie objektu, který tyto potřeby naplňuje a zároveň respektuje historické a morfologické hodnoty místa. Objekt vytváří ve svém bezprostředním okolí nové tematické lákadlo a vytváří potenciál pro další rozvoj přilehlého automobilového a motocyklového okruhu. The main task of this thesis was to create an architectural study of The Gallery of Brno Grand Prix based on previous urban study from previous semester works. The proposal is focused on the iconic circuit’s former glory restoration, on providing new content for raceway complex and creating decent and presentable place for the presentation of the rich history of Czech and Czechoslovak motorsport. The result is a study of an object that meets these needs while respecting the historical and morphological values of the place. The building creates new themed attraction and creates the potential for further development of near circuit.
