První teoretická část rozebírá základní termíny v teplárenství, historii teplárenství a paroplynový cyklus. Druhá část se zaměřuje na brněnské teplárenství jako celek, následně přímo na provoz Červený mlýn. Na závěr posuzuje celkový přínos modernizace Červeného mlýnu. The work consist of two main parts. The first part deals with the basic theoretical terms in heating, history of heating and steam-gas cycle. The second part focuses on the heating of Brno as a whole, then directly to the operation of the Červený mlýn. At the conclusion of judging the overall benefit of modernization Červený mlýn.
