Tato práce slouží jako přehled moderních trendů pohonných jednotek. První část práce nastiňuje rozdělení spalovacích motorů, následující hlavní část je přehledem několika pohonných jednotek charakteristických pro své kategorie. V poslední kapitole je srovnání dvou zástupců motorů nižších výkonnostních tříd a dvou zástupců vyšších výkonnostních tříd. Závěr práce pak shrnuje popsané téma a vyjadřuje vlastní názor. This bachelor’s thesis is an overview of modern drive units trends. The first part of this thesis demonstrates combusting engines sorting; the next main part is an overview of a few drive units which are characteristic for their categories. There is a comparison of two lower power class engine representatives and two higher power class representatives in final chapter. The conclusion summarizes described topic and expresses own opinion.
