Zvyšující se nároky na automobilovou dopravu kvůli snížení dopadu na životní prostředí a spotřeby fosilních paliv, vedly ke snaze zvýšení účinnosti spalovacího procesu a automobilu jako celku. Jednou z možností jak tohoto dosáhnout je využít odpadního tepla spalovacího procesu a to především odpadního tepla výfukových plynů. Toto teplo může být přeměněno na elektrickou energii, jejíž spotřeba u moderních automobilů vzrůstá. Předkládaná práce pojednává o možnostech využití odpadního tepla výfukových plynů spalovacího motoru automobilu. Zaměřená je na aplikace vyrábějící elektrickou energii. V práci je zanalyzován současný stav automobilové dopravy a poté uveden přehled možných technologických řešení využití odpadního tepla výfukových plynů. Stěžejní část je věnována termoelektrickým generátorům, jejich konstrukci a přehledu konstrukčních řešení. Na závěr je provedená energetická bilance při použití termoelektrického generátoru. Increasing demands for vehicular traffic to reduce the environmental impact and consumption of fossil fuels, led an effort to increase the efficiency of the combustion process and the car as a whole. One way to achieve this is to use the waste heat of the combustion process, especially waste heat of exhaust gases. This heat can be converted into electrical energy. Consumption of electricity in modern cars is increasing. The presented work deals with the possibilities, how to using waste heat of exhaustgases from internal combustion engine. Focused on application of producing electricity. The paper analyzed the current state of car traffic, and then provides an overview of possible technological solutions using waste heat of exhaust gases. The main part is devoted to thermoelectric generators, their construction and possible design. In conclusion is made the energy balance with use thermoelectric generator.
