Tato bakalářská práce vytváří přehled historie civilního letectví od roku 1950 do roku 1970. Po druhé světové válce nebyla přeprava civilistů letadly běžná. Ke konci výše zmíněného dvacetiletí se stala neodmyslitelnou součástí cestování na dlouhých tratích. Pozornost je věnována důležitým událostem v historii letectví od přechodu z motorů turbovrtulových na dvouproudové. Vrcholem tohoto období byla konstrukce dopravních letadel schopných překonat rychlost zvuku. Tato práce popisuje také vývoj konstrukce vrtulníků. Pozornost je věnována i velkým konstrukčním kancelářím Evropy, Asii a Severní Ameriky. Část práce pojednává i o vývoji letectví v Československu.
This bachelor's thesis creates an overwiev of the history od civil aviation from 1950 to 1970. After World War II civilian transport aircraft was not common. At the end of the above two decades has become an essential part of traveling on long distance. Attention is given to important events in the history of aviation from transitiv from turboprop to turbofan engine. The highlight of this period was the construction of transport aircraft capable of overcoming supersonic speed.This thesis describes the development of helicopter construction. Attention is also given to the large construction offices in Europe, Asia and North America. Part of the work dealth with a development of aviation in Czechoslovakia.
