RIEGER Lukáš: Biomass modification for energy use The main contents of the theses completed in the bachelor's programme of the field B-EPE is to make a summary of various methods and principles used for treatment of biomass, based on literature studies. Emphasis is put on the possibility of a subsequent use of the energy of a thus created organic. Considering that each of the methods used gives rise to products of varying characteristics depending on both the presentation and the type of the original biomass, an analysis of several types of solid biofuels (pellets and briquettes made of different materials by different manufacturers), which evokes an image of the diversity of the fundamental characteristics of the products made from modified biomass.
