Práce sleduje prvky kontinuity a diskontinuity při vzniku Československé akademie věd na počátku 50. let 20. století ve vztahu k jejím předchůdcům. The paper is focused on the real continuous and discountinuous processes during the formation of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences in the beginning of 1950s in the relation to the former scientific and scholarly institutions.
