Příspěvek shrnuje obecné charakteristiky svahových deformací na dvou listech Základní mapy České republiky 1:10 000, 25-32-25 a 25-32-24, v centrální části Vizovické vrchoviny a v prostoru strukturně podmíněné sníženiny mezi Vizovicemi a Bratřejovem. Sesuvy se vyskytují nejčastěji ve středních částech svahů v místech ostrého lomu spádu pod hlavním hřbetem, kde se výrazně zvětšuje mocnost zvětralin, a také v uzávěrech erozních sníženin. Zmíněny jsou i dvě rozsáhlé hluboce založené deformace Mezné a Peklo. The contribution describes general characteristics of slope deformations within two sheets of Basic map of the Czech Republic in a scale 1:10 000, 25-32-25 and 25-32-24, in the central part of the Vizovická vrchovina (Highland) and in the area of the structural depresion between Vizovice and Bratřejov. The landslides are mostly situated in central parts of slopes of the main mountain ridge in places of abrupt change in surface inclination, where the thickness of weathering mantle increases markedly, and also in terminal parts of erosional depresions. Two deep-seated deformation called Mezné and Peklo are mentioned two.
