cze Abstract:
[cze][eng] Příspěvek studuje geotektonickou pozici, tektonické uspořádání a obecnou geomorfologii jihozápadního úseku Českého masivu. The contribution deals with geotectonic position, tectonic configuration and general geomorphology of the south-western section of the marginal part of the Bohemian Massif. The 100 km long marginal flank is formed by the regionally important linear Diendorf fault system of Paleozoic age. During Cenozoic, this old tectonic area was reactivated in transtensile regime as a one of zones compensating different movements between the Eastern Alps and Western Carpathians. Thus, from a kinematic point of view, it can be regarded as a component of the Alpine orogen.
