Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou makroekonomického vývoje České republiky po vstupu do Evropské unie. Pozornost je věnována vývoji hrubého domácího produktu a jeho struktuře. V práci jsou zmíněna také interpretační omezení HDP a některé alternativní ukazatele. Poslední část je zaměřena na proces reálné konvergence a srovnání se zeměmi EU. The thesis deals with the analysis of macroeconomic development of the Czech Republic after admission to the European Union. Attention is also paid to development of gross domestic product and its structure. The thesis also mentions the interpretive limitations of GDP and some alternative indicators. The last part focuses on the process of real convergence and comparison with the countries of EU.
