Tato bakalářská práce řeší problematiku země původu na spotřebitelské vnímání kvality potravin. Cílem práce je osvětlení tohoto fenoménu a zjištění, zda jsou mladí spotřebitelé ovlivňováni dovozy nekvalitních potravin z Polska. První část práce shrnuje teoretická východiska významu značky na spotřebitelovo nákupní rozhodování a tzv. country of origin efektu. To, jak je důležité vnímání image dané země, vysvětluje Anholtova matice. Praktická část této práce se zaměřuje na česko - polské vztahy. Provedené dotazníkové šetření přispívá k osvětlení domněnky, zda je předem vybraná cílová skupina ovlivňována původem potravin, a jak na ně dolehla problematika nekvalitních potravin dovezených z Polska. The main issue of this bachelor thesis focuses on the impact of the country of origin on the consumers' perception of food quality. The aim of the thesis is to explain this phenomenon and determine whether the young consumers are affected by the poor quality food imported from Poland. The first part summarizes theoretical background of the importance of brand on consumers' purchase decision making and so called Country of origin effect. The importance of the perception of the image of a given country is explained by the Anholt's matrix. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the Czech - Polish relations. The questionnaire survey led to the clarification of the assumption that the pre-selected target group is influenced by the country of origin.
