Cílem této práce je zanalyzovat a zhodnotit dopady pořádání sportovní akce IIHF Mistrovství světa v ledním hokeji v Praze a Ostravě v roce 2015 na cestovní ruch. Následně porovnat tyto dopady v obou pořádajících městech. První část práce se zabývá vymezení základních pojmů, které slouží k snadnějšímu pochopení a představení problematiky eventů, event tourismu a sportovních eventů a jejich dopadů. Praktická část diplomové práce se zabývá zhodnocení dopadů pořádání hokejového šampionátu na území ČR. The aim of this thesis is the impact analysis of hosting the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Prague and Ostrava in 2015.The first part of thesis is about sport events, event marketing and event tourism. The second part of thesis is the analysis of impacts of hosting IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship on tourism in Prague and Ostrava.
