Bakalářská práce se zabývá významnými demografickými změnami v chování populace České republiky v letech 1989 až 2014. V současné době patří mezi celosvětový problém demografické stárnutí populace, se kterým je spojena řada příčin a důsledků, ať už ekonomických, sociálních nebo politických. Práce se zaměřuje na konkrétní tři oblasti. První z nich je trh práce, se kterým se nejčastěji pojí obava ohledně nedostatku pracovních sil a diskriminace na pracovním trhu. Dále se věnuje systému sociální politiky, konkrétně sociálním službám jako je pečovatelská služba a domovy pro seniory a v poslední řadě poukazuje na stále rostoucí náklady na zdravotní péči. Cílem práce tak je podrobně popsat oblasti, které se změnou ve věkové struktuře souvisí a následně navrhnout možná opatření, jak dopadům spojenými s demografickým stárnutím nejlépe čelit i s ohledem na budoucí vývoj. Podstatná část práce je také věnována vývoji vybraných demografických ukazatelů a projekci obyvatelstva. The bachelor thesis focuses on major demographic changes in behaviour among the population of the Czech Republic between 1989 and 2014. Currently, population ageing represents a global problem connected with many causes and consequences - economic, social or political. The thesis concentrates specifically on three areas. One of them is the labour market, which is frequently associated with concerns about labour shortage and labour market discrimination. Further, it engages with the system of social policy, namely nursing services and homes for the elderly and constantly increasing costs of health care. The thesis aims at a detailed discription of areas connected with the changes in the age structure and make a suggestion of possible measures to face the effects of demographic ageing with regard to future development. A substantial part focuses at the development of selected demographic indicators and population projection.
