[slo][cze][eng] Práca sa zaoberá problematikou devízových intervencií, odhaľuje ich historickú podmienenosť a zaraďuje do kontextu ostatných menovopolitických inštrumentov. Kľúčovú udalosť pre autorov výskum predstavuje obdobie poslednej finančnej krízy, ktorá determinovala významné zmeny v základných ekonomických fundamentoch devízových intervencií na globálnej úrovni. Syntézou verejne dostupných zdrojov boli následne identifikované aktuálne trendy vo vývoji tohto fenoménu. Práca analyzuje devízové transakcie taktiež z perspektívy mikroekonomickej. V tomto zmysle boli predmetom výskumu centrálne banky dvoch ekonomík (Austrália a Česká republika), ktoré intervencie na devízovom trhu v minulosti aktívne využili. K vyriešeniu stanovených hypotéz boli využité štúdie a štatistiky medzinárodných organizácií, ako napr. MMF alebo BIS, ale aj oficiálne správy centrálnych bánk.Práce se zabývá problematikou devizových intervencí, odhaluje jejich historickou podmíněnost a zařazuje je do kontextu ostatních měnověpolitických instrumentů. Klíčovou událost pro autorův výzkum představuje období poslední finanční krize, která determinovala významné změny v základních ekonomických fundamentech devizových intervencí na globální úrovni. Syntézou veřejně dostupných zdrojů byly následně identifikovány aktuální trendy ve vývoji tohoto fenoménu. Práce také analyzuje devizové transakce z mikroekonomické perspektivy. V tomto smyslu jsou předmětem výzkumu centrální banky dvou ekonomik (Austrálie a Česká republika), které intervence na devizovém trhu v minulosti aktivně využily. K vyřešení stanovených hypotéz byly využity studie a statistiky mezinárodních organizací, jako například MMF nebo BIS, ale i oficiální zprávy centrálních bank.The thesis analyses the issue of foreign exchange interventions, discovers its historical conditionality and introduces them to the context of other monetary policy instruments. For the purpose of author`s own research, key event is represented by the last financial crisis which determined significant changes in the basic economic fundamentals of foreign exchange interventions on the global level. Synthetizing publicly available information current trends in the development of this phenomenon were identified. Thesis analyses foreign exchange interventions also from the microeconomic perspective. In this sense, the research subject was presented by central banks of two economies (Australia and Czech Republic) which actively used interventions on foreign exchange market in the past. In order to solve given hypotheses scientific studies and statistical data published by international organizations were used, for example IMF or BIS, but also official reports of central banks
