Studie analyzuje reflexi psychoanalytického učení v obou románech jako příklad transferu „vědění“ do textů krásné literatury. Freudův intertext je v obou případech výsledkem vlastní badatelské práce obou autorek. Taubesová jej důsledně dekonstruuje, psychoanalýza je pro ni součástí složitého vztahu k otci-psychoanalytikovi. Rybakovová se jím naopak inspiruje a používá některé výroky Freuda ve funkci intertextu. V závěru je pak vyslovena hypotéza o skrytém vlivu učení C. G. Junga na Susan Taubesovou. The study presents an analysis of the reflection of the psychoanalytic theory of learning in both novels as an example of a transfer of "knowledge" to texts of fiction. Freud’s intertext is in both novels the result of own research work of the two authors. Taubes deconstructs it consistently, psychoanalysis being for her a part of the complicated relationship to her father, a psychoanalyst. Rybakova, on the contrary, is inspired by it and uses some of Freud’s utterances in the function of intertext. In conclusion, a hypothesis is then formulated about a concealed influence of C. G. Jung’s theory on Susan Taubes.
