Cílem této práce je popsat vývoj španělské klavírní hudby během devatenáctého a raného dvacátého století. Jednotlivé kapitoly jsou věnovány konkrétním autorům, reprezentujícím toto období, dále podrobně vysvětluji jejich styl a věnuji se jejich nejdůležitějším dílům, a to i v soudobém politickém a celospolečenském kontextu, jak v samotném Španělsku, tak v Evropě. V první kapitole se více zabývám také historickým vývojem Španělska a dále popisuji společenská hnutí působící napříč kontinentem. V závěru práce shrnuji své nejdůležitější poznatky. The aim of this work is to describe the development of Spanish piano music during the nineteenth and early twentieth century. Individual chapters are devoted to specific authors, who are exponents of this period, and to explain in detail their style and their most important works, within the contemporary political and social context, both in Spain and in Europe. The first chapter also deals with more historical development of Spain and describes a social movement operating across the continent. At the end, I summarize the most important conclusions.
