Diplomová práce se zabývá oceňováním komerčních bank. Cílem práce je nejprve vysvětlit specifika hospodaření bank a používané metody ocenění, načež následuje aplikace vybrané metody na konkrétní bankovní instituci. Konkrétní oceněnou institucí je ČSOB, a.s. This master thesis is about commercial bank valuation. The goal of the thesis is to explain the specifics of bank business and commonly used valuation methods. Selected method is then applied on a chosen bank. For this purpose, ČSOB a.s. was chosen.
