Abstract: The presented paper is focused on the investigation of dynamic behaviour of tall slender structure taking into account SSI and a presence of TMD. The main aim was to qualitatively and quantitatively assess effect of both phenomena on changes in basic dynamic properties in relation to classically damped fixed-base structure. In particular, the differences in resonant frequencies, in the effective damping and in the character of the dynamic response were studied.
