The goal of this bachelor work is to show the transformation process of the family behavior in the Czech Republic (1950--2011), consequently to review the fertility evolution in the Czech Republic in this context (1950--2011), to weight up whether the discussed social, economic and political factors really have an influence on the fertility in the Czech Republic and to try to point out the possible reasons of the fertility degradation. For better idea, the fertility evolution in the Czech Republic is confronted with the same in France (1950--2010) but only on the level of the basic characteristics. France was chosen deliberately because of its great economic potential a high fertility, which is one of the greatest in Europe.
