Cílem této práce je poukázat na proces transformace rodinného chování v České republice (1950--2011) a následně v kontextu změny rodinného chování posoudit vývoj plodnosti v České republice (1950--2011). Zhodnotit, zda diskutované socioekonomicko-politické faktory mají skutečně vliv na plodnost v České republice a pokusit se poukázat na možné důvody poklesu plodnosti. Pro lepší představu je vývoj plodnosti v České republice konfrontován s vývojem plodnosti ve Francii (1950--2010), avšak pouze na úrovni základních charakteristik. Francie je zvolena záměrně z důvodu ekonomické vyspělosti země a vysoké intenzitě plodnosti, která je jednou z nejvyšších v Evropě. The goal of this bachelor work is to show the transformation process of the family behavior in the Czech Republic (1950--2011), consequently to review the fertility evolution in the Czech Republic in this context (1950--2011), to weight up whether the discussed social, economic and political factors really have an influence on the fertility in the Czech Republic and to try to point out the possible reasons of the fertility degradation. For better idea, the fertility evolution in the Czech Republic is confronted with the same in France (1950--2010) but only on the level of the basic characteristics. France was chosen deliberately because of its great economic potential a high fertility, which is one of the greatest in Europe.
