Disertační práce popisuje současnou situaci partnerství veřejného a soukromého sektoru (PPP) a následně analyzuje vývoj tohoto konceptu v České republice od roku 2004 po současnost, zejména s ohledem na plnění politiky vlády v oblasti partnerství veřejného a soukromého sektoru deklarované ve stěžejních usneseních vlády, institucionální zabezpečení, počet a objem realizovaných projektů. Práce rovněž definuje hlavní příčiny neúspěchu partnerství veřejného a soukromého sektoru v České republice. Součástí práce je rovněž komparace partnerství veřejného a soukromého sektoru v České republice a ve vybraných evropských zemích (Slovensko, Chorvatsko, Portugalsko) a formulace předpokladů pro úspěšnou realizaci projektů partnerství veřejného a soukromého sektoru v České republice v budoucnu. The dissertation describes the current situation of Public Private Partnership (PPP), and then analyzes the development of this concept in the Czech Republic from 2004 to the present time, especially regarding to the implementation of Governmental policy in the field of Public Private Partnership declared in the key resolutions of the Government, institutional ensure and number and volume of the implemented projects. This dissertation also defines the main causes of failure of Public Private Partnership in the Czech Republic. Moreover, the thesis also includes a comparison of Public Private Partnership in the Czech Republic and in selected European countries (Slovakia, Croatia, Portugal) and formulation of the preconditions for successful implementation of Public Private Partnership in the Czech Republic in the future.
