In exposing large holograms one encounters the problem of insufficiency of the laser power that needs to be spread over an extensive area. A per partes exposure using a narrow beam of sufficient intensity offers a solution. The cover the whole hologram area, the beam spot is required to travel in concentric circles. Při expozici velkých hologramů je nutné uvážit nedostatečnost výkonu laseru, kterým je nutné pokrýt větší plochu. Expozice po částech využívající úzkého svazku dostatečné intenzity nabízí řešení. Pro pokrytí plochy celého hologramu je nutné, aby se svazek pohyboval po soustředných kružnicích.
