Cestovní ruch je ve stále větší míře provázaný s rozvojem informačních a komunikačních technologií a především internetu a již delší dobu se online trh stává klíčovým aspektem jeho dalšího rozvoje. Současný technologický rozvoj s sebou přináší výraznou digitalizaci veškerých procesů a významně ovlivňuje způsob, jakým dnes společnosti vstupují a komunikují na online trhu cestovního ruchu. Stejně tak, v důsledku těchto změn, dochází k i k výrazným změnám v oblasti spotřebního chování a to napříč věkovými skupinami. Díky rozvoji těchto technologií je dnešní spotřebitel nejenom znalejší a zkušenější, ale je ve stále větší míře neustále online součástí tohoto trhu. Rozvoj online trhu cestovního ruchu je tak ve stále větší míře silně provázaný s růstem celkové internetové populace a v současné době i té, která ke svému přístupu na internet využívá mobilní infrastruktury a zařízení. Cílem disertační práce je analyzovat dopad rozvoje internetu, jako globálního fenoménu posledních desetiletí, a informačních a komunikačních technologií na trh cestovního ruchu, a zároveň vytvořit ucelený pohled na tuto problematiku z pohledu trhu cestovního ruchu. The extent of the Tourism is increasingly linked to the development of information and communication technologies, especially the Internet and for a long time the online market is becoming a key aspect of its further development. Current technological development brings with it significant digitization of all processes and significantly affects how today's companies are entering and communicating on the online tourism market. Similarly, as a result of these changes, the significant change occurs in consumer behaviour, and across all age groups. With the development of these technologies, today's consumer is not only knowledgeable and more experienced, but is increasingly being constant online part of this market. The development of online tourism market is thus increasingly strongly linked with the growth of the total Internet population and currently also the one, that is using to the internet access the cellular infrastructure and equipment. The aim of disertation is to analyze the impact of the development of the internet as a global phenomenon of the last decade, and information and communication technologies on the tourism market, and to create a comprehensive look at this issue from tourism market perspective.
