Stať přináší přehled vývoje názorů na povahu osobní pohody(well-being). Vyjasňují terminologii spojenou s osobní pohodou, její zařazení v rámci psychologických kategorií, související faktory a determinanty. A review of opinions on the nature of well being is provided in the paper. The terminological questions associcated with the concept of well-being, its affecting factors and determinants are discussed.
